NETSPECTRUM has begun building out our fibre infrastructure for Phase 1 in East Ferris. Phase 2 timelines are TBD. Although Phase 1 was estimated to be completed, there have been supply chain and contractor delays that are out of our control that have the infrastructure build out taking longer than anticipated and continuing into 2022.
Where is the fibre going?
The fibre will be fed from our Big Moose tower (near Big Moose camp) and cover approximately 240 homes in the area.
What speeds will be available?
50 Mbps download 10 Mbps upload for $99.95/mo. + tax
What will be other costs and info?
- No contract (customer keeps contract duration if they have wireless and switch to fibre before contract is over)
- $80+ tax installation fee (includes fibre cable run from road to home up to 250ft, additional charges may apply for more than 250ft). Existing Netspectrum customers will be subject to installation fee, but will receive first month of service plan free).
- Netspectrum will bury the cable run for the customer.
- Provide your own router or rent one from us for $5/mo.+tax
- Seasonal Standby is offered

Once our services are live and available to your home, you'll know it - we will be ensuring everyone who is eligible for fibre will be aware.
My House is Not Within the new Coverage Area, when will you cover me?
Every expansion/new service has to start somewhere. The decision on where to start our initial builds was based on several factors. New expansions and builds will be shared as they are planned. This is our current area of focus, and there are no additional areas to include at this time.
