Windows 7 PPPoE

Step 1: Click on the start menu and click on "Control Panel". If you can't see an option, use the search and search for "Control Panel". Once you see it click on it.


Step 2: Once you open the Control Panel you want to click on "Network and  Internet"

Step 3: On the next screen you are going to be looking for "Network and Sharing Center"

Step 4: On this new screen, you should see "Set up a new connection or network". Click on it.

Step 5:  A new window should open up, you will want to click the top option. It should be "Connect to the Internet". If it is selected(highlighted Blue), click the "Next" button in the bottom right corner of the window.

 In some case it might bring you to another screen that asks if "Do you want to use a connection you already have?" If it does, click "No, create a new connection". If it doesn't show this, skip to Step 6.

Step 6: The next screen should show a few different options, click on "Broadband (PPPoE)".

Step 7: At this screen it should ask you for a Username and Password. If you know what it is, enter it now. If you are unsure you can call our tech support at 1-800-461-6379 or email them at support@netpsectrum.ca and they will be able to provide the credentials too you. The other options on this screen are optional. If you want more details on what they do you can call our tech support.
